Our village Kosmas is a mountain village in the prefecture of Arcadia. It is the seat of the former Kosmas Community, located in the area of South Kynouria. It is built in the southeastern part of Parnon, at an altitude of 1,150 meters, among fir forests. Kosmas is 50 km from Tyros, 32 km from Leonidio and 24 km from Skala and is located on the road that connects the prefectures of Arcadia and Laconia. It has been officially designated as traditional settlement. A remarkable event that changed the modern history of the village was the construction of the road Kosmas - Geraki, Laconia. In March 1951, all the inhabitants of Kosmas, led by the retired Colonel, journalist and businessman Kyriakos Tseronis, set out on their own to build this magnificent project for the whole region. So, in just 100 days, on July 1, 1951, the feast day of Agios Anargyros, the patron saints of Kosmas, they brought the car to their place for the first time. That's why this street was named "Road of 100 days" and today is part of the road Leonidi - Kosma - Skala.

"A magnificent architectural building. We were the first to visit the newly renovated hostel and were welcomed by the effortless smile of Mrs. Panayiota. Clean room, great and rich breakfast, service for any needs. The rooms are clean, spacious with wonderful views of the beautiful forest. It is true that it is outside the village but it also has its advantages, you do not have the hum of the square, you have the quiet of the mountain. Small and insignificant weaknesses are sure to improve with experience. We strongly recommend that you choose this hostel." Nikos Helen
